Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin are finally showing off the fruits of their labor. No, they haven't' collaborated on a track (though that would be… something…), the pop superstars have joined forces with MAC as the faces of their always A-list, socially aware MAC Viva Glam campaign for 2012.

In the photo, a dolled up Nicki, wearing a bright pink latex dress, pink hair and neon makeup, sits atop a motorcycle looking like her usual sexy self. Meanwhile a tatted up Ricky poses quite manically, holding up a giant pink lipstick. The shoot itself is full of graffiti art and looks a bit pieced together and photoshopped in that pop art kind of way.

Oh yeah, it's done in the way that renowned celebrity photographer David LaChapelle is known for. Did we mention he did the photos? Well, he did. Read More...

A little over a month ago, when MTV News' Jim Cantiello asked Simon Cowell when he was going to join Twitter, the "X Factor" judge told him, "I can't do the typing. All my friends, they literally text without looking at the screen. I'm still like, 'Where's the S, where's the A?' I've got to learn how to do it. I'd love to do it. Once they do the thing where you can actually talk and type, I'll be on it like a shot."

Well, we're not sure they've developed that technology in the weeks since Jim sat down with Cowell and fellow judge L.A. Reid, but that didn't stop him from joining the social networking service. Last night, @SimonCowell sent his first tweet into the ether. "It's official, I know it's taken a while. It's really me! We're live in 10 minutes. I'll keep you posted. Lots of love #iamsimon. "

Within 12 (mostly overnight) hours, Cowell had racked up over 180,000 followers. So far he's mostly used his new platform to launch fun jabs at Reid, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and one not so good-spirited dig at Piers Morgan, who tweeted, "At last! Bring. It. On. love #iampiers. Save your breath @SimonCowell - nobody's watching X Factor, my show's about to start #CNN @PiersTonight," after noticing Cowell signed up for Twitter.

We'd expect nothing less!

Oh no, you guys, the Queen is pissed!

Yesterday, a demo version of what was widely assumed to be the lead single from Madonna's forthcoming record leaked online and everyone lost their minds about it for a hot second. The song, "Give Me All Your Love" featuring Nicki Minaj, received a standing ovation from the Internet, even in its unfinished form. "Give Me" is like a hybrid of early-80s Madonna and early aughts Madonna – think "Jimmy Jimmy" from True Blue meets "Beautiful Stranger" – and yeah, it's pretty great.

Except Madonna is all, "Why'd you guys blow my spot?" Actually, what she said, according to her manager Guy Oseary, is much worse – in that sad way where you feel bad about something even though you had nothing to do with it. Earlier today, Oseary took to Twitter to lament the demo leak, saying, "Madonna told me this morning 'my true fans wouldn't do this.'"

He went on to admit that he, and presumably Madonna, were happy with the positive reaction to the song, but asked that whoever leaked "Give Me All your Love" stop. He even requested that Her Madgesty's fans "police any more leaks."

Twitter giveth and Twitter taketh away.

While Kim Kardashian may be the fifth most followed person in the world, those millions of followers can always turn on you. The day she announced her divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of 72 days, #ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage began trending. It’s been over 24 hours and it’s still going strong with many people weighing in with jokes about the brevity of the union.

We rounded up our favorites – unfortunately, we couldn’t list their authors because so many people were twacking (tweet jacking – I just made it up, it’s fine)! Looks like “the time it takes to steal a tweet” is one of the #ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage. Here are our faves.

Cher is one of the most vocal celebrities on Twitter. She's also one of our favorite stars to follow. The living legend actively responds to questions from her followers and talks about all those things you're not supposed to (hello, politics!). But one thing that's come up again and again that Cher has been stepping around is her duet with Lady Gaga, "The Greatest Thing."

The song was supposed to drop in late-September, but still hasn't seen the light of day, and fans want to know why. For her part, the reason for the delay seems to be the only thing Cher won't address directly on Twitter. Instead, the music legend has been tossing out sarcastic responses when asked and yesterday told fans she is "never telling you guys early again!"

She didn't, however, actually say when the much-anticipated song would be released. Read on for a bit more insight into "The Greatest Thing" and to see what Cher had to say about another music legend on the comeback train. Read More...

The hair, the look, the swagger: it all came courtesy of Justin Bieber's road manager and appropriately enough his "swagger coach," Ryan Good. But like any good teacher, Ryan knows when to let his pupil go and use the things he taught him out in the world without his assistance.

On Twitter, it was announced that Ryan would no longer be one of the key guys in the Haus of Bieber. A one-time Hump Day Hottie, Good taught the teen star everything he knows about being cool. He is kind of like Jean-Ralphio to Bieber's Tom Haverford, just going around spitting rhymes and doling out nicknames for people. (Note: We don't actually know if that happened, but we'd like to imagine it did.)

Ryan will be missed by us all, as well as Bieber and his team. Bieber tweeted this simple message for his former style guru, "@thatrygood love u man." Read More...

Britney Spears

Britney Spears is using Twitter to reach out to a special fan of hers. Over the weekend, the singer asked her Twitter devotees to help her locate one of her biggest supporters.

"If anyone can find this gentleman I've got a package with my entire catalog with his name on it...." she wrote, posting a picture of the homeless fan who is trying to connect with the singer.

In the tweeted photo of the man, he is holding a sign that reads, "Need to get new Britney Spears CD, anything will help, God bless." While further information about the man, his location or now Spears learned about him were not posted on Twitter, Spears is currently on the road in Europe with her Femme Fatale tour while the search continues. As of press time, no additional information about the search had been updated.

Spears Sign

Spears is the latest pop star to use the social networking site to try and connect with her fans. Just last week, Justin Bieber went on a similar search while on his My World tour in South America and Mexico. When he caught wind of a news report featuring a fan crying about not being able to see the star, he tweeted, "need everyone's help. we have LESS than 24 hours. we need to find this girl..she is at the 30 sec mark. HELP! Thanks." Read More...

Hey y'all! Happy Unbroken Day! Today, Demi Lovato drops her new album and it seems that critics and celebrities all pretty much love what the "Skyscraper" singing is doing on it.

So, what are the critics saying? While the New York Times seemed a bit restrained about their love for the album, they did note, "These songs do give Ms. Lovato the opportunity to present herself as an adult, not just a moppet who knows too much."

Meanwhile, the album scored an impressive B+ with the folks over at Entertainment Weekly, who added, "Clearly it's been a tough year for Lovato. But as Rihanna could tell her, sometimes bad years make great songs."

Rolling Stone focused less on the darker elements of the album, pointing out that "Unbroken is mostly sunshine and slumber-party hooks… She's grown into her voice. Now, if only her music would grow up too."

USA Today gave the album three out of four stars, noting that "By the time she hits the ballad 'Skyscraper,' a towering performance that sounds both desperate and determined, she has clearly transitioned from a teen star into a young woman worth listening to."

But it's not just the critics who have a thing or two to say about the album, it's also her celebrity pals. Like who? Read on. Read More...

The last year was a big one for Pink. She welcomed a daughter with husband Carey Hart, released a smash greatest hits album and scored her second number one solo hit, "Raise Your Glass." Today, she celebrates her 32nd birthday, so let's, um, raise our glasses to Pink!

Incidentally, before we realized it was her birthday, we were already planning on toasting the pop star today, but for a different reason. We simply can't get enough of Pink on Twitter.

Since the birth of her daughter Willow, Pink has taken some time off to bond with her baby and nurture her growing family. It's pretty rare these days for such a high-profile celeb to set her career on the shelf for so long, but it's made us appreciate Pink all the more. We've always loved her tunes, but by opting away from full-on familial magazine spreads and "HOW I LOST THE BABY WEIGHT" headlines, we've gained an enormous amount of respect for the singer. She started her career as the bad-ass of the early aughts pop princesses, but Pink turned out to be the one to respect that some things are sacred. And that's pretty awesome.

On Twitter, Pink brings humor to the challenges of being a new parent. She also frequently responds directly to her fans and those who criticize her with the same snappy, take-no-s**t attitude that made us love her in the first place. After the jump, a few of our recent favorite tweets.

After ABC officially announced that Chaz Bono would become the first transgender person to appear on "Dancing With The Stars," Bono was viciously attacked by apparently transphobic Internet commenters across the blogosphere and on Twitter. Now his mother, music legend Cher, has responded, writing, " Mothers don't stop getting angry with stupid bigots who fk with their children!"

You tell 'em, Cher!

Cher then encouraged her fans to support Chaz on the show, and Bono thanked his mother for her support.

Cher went on to celebrate Chaz's courage for joining the primetime hit, and even retweeted a fan's supportive tweet that said Chaz "has the biggest ball of anyone on DWTS." Read on for more. Read More...
