Celeb nudie pics hitting the Internet is nothing new with Blake Lively, Scarlett Johannsen and even Kanye himself having such incidents, and it appears Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker can now be added to that list.
It all started when website MediaTakeOut published some nude photos of an unnamed musician who had supposedly sent them to a female admirer. Unsurprisingly, readers were quickly able to discern the visible, distinctive tattoos as belonging to Barker and the pictures began circulating quickly.
While his ex-wife Shanna Moakler might be used to showing some skin (she was in Playboy), Barker isn’t thrilled with pics of his manhood spreading across the web. According to TMZ, the drummer’s lawyer, Evan Speigel, has shot off a cease and desist letter to MediaTakeOut and demanded they take the photos down for the “unauthorized use of private photos.”
Sources tell TMZ that the photographs were taken over five years ago and of course were “private and never intended for public viewing or to be seen by anyone else.” (I don’t think anyone was making the mistake of thinking Barker gifted his pics to the world.) Read More...
Travis Barker opens up about the plane crash that left him severely burned in this week's issue of Us Weekly. Released from a Georgia burn center just last week, he trekked across the country by bus to get back home to Los Angeles, where he continues his recovery at an area hospital. Barker told the magazine that right now, all he wants to do is chill with his kids and get back on the drum kit.

The sad news about Travis Barker and DJ AM has inspired us to look back on their recent performances as the VMA house band — collaborations that featured Lupe Fiasco, Katy Perry, LL Cool J and The Ting Tings.
We've dug into our archives to give you guys the full songs that you didn't see during the broadcast. Watch the guys grooving along with Kid Cudi, Fiasco and the others, and if you look closely, you can see AM rapping to himself during LL's performance.

Before Travis Barker and DJ AM were hurt in a plane crash over the weekend, the duo performed as the VMA house band and lived their dream of performing with LL Cool J.
Two days before the big show, MTV News caught the pair's last-minute rehearsal moments. Take a look back at their rehearsal with Katy Perry, for her performance of "Like a Virgin." While Katy sang the iconic Madonna hit, the guys were cool and relaxed and seemed like they were having a genuinely good time. Travis drummed away, and DJ AM laughed and smiled while spinning the track.

When we heard the news over the weekend about Travis Barker and DJ AM's plane crash, we couldn't help but think of the last time we caught up with them, fresh from their stint as the house band at the Video Music Awards.
The duo showed everyone a good time, with some help from LL Cool J, the Ting Tings and Katy Perry, but it was the guys themselves who really seemed to have the most fun. When John Norris caught up with them at the VMA afterparty, Travis told him, "Oh my gosh, it was so fun!" They also talked about just how cool it was to collaborate with those artists and to have the opportunity to be the soundtrack for the awards show.
The guys were particularly stoked to work with LL Cool J ("I saw him in '87. I was freaking out!" AM gushed), thrilled with the results of their Ting Tings collaboration and blown away by Lil Wayne. In the end, though, AM joked, "I'm just happy I didn't mess up."
See how the guys were feeling after their big night below.
I'm sad today. It always amazes how bad news can just hit you so unexpectedly and put a damper on even the brightest of days.
I'm sad at the news I received on a BlackBerry alert this morning with the message "Travis Barker and DJ AM critically injured in plane crash." The news totally sideswiped me - as bad news always does. Read More...
