It was a great day of filming, and believe me: "Twilight" fans are not going to want to miss any of this!

We talked about the first "chemistry screen test" between Kristen and Rob. Kristen had to act out a scene with five different potential Edwards, one after another, with Catherine deciding that Robert was "the one" the first time the two kissed — which, as all Twilighters know, happened in Catherine's bedroom.

That all led up to the scene that is now a favourite to win Best Kiss at this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Apparently, both actors were nervous — so nervous that Rob actually fell off the bed during the audition. But then, once he was in the rhythm of things, Catherine actually had to remind Robert that the film was PG-13 as he was getting a little too ... well, you can use your imagination.

Talking about the Best Fight nomination for "Twilight" was very interesting. As you know, the fight scene between Edward and James wasn't actually written in the book — Bella just wakes up in the hospital — so for this, Catherine was able to completely conjure up the scene. She pulled out all the storyboards and talked us through the anatomy of the scene and how both actors prepared mentally and physically for the roles. With a small budget, she even resorted to using a combination of string cheese and chicken for the torn bits of flesh.

Then we saw her personal shrine to "Twilight" — one of the best "Twilight" collections. She has the original script and the first "Twilight" book she bought, complete with all her notes and alternate lines for Edward's "Hold on tight, spider monkey." (Robert chose that one after reading 10 alternative lines that Catherine wrote the night before, including "Wrap your legs around me and hold on tight, spider monkey" and "Fasten your seatbelt, it's going to be a bumpy ride.") It was nice to see that Catherine also keeps her fan mail and gifts that Twilighters send her. The best ones make it into the shrine.

Another great moment was seeing the words to Paramore's "Decode" written out by frontwoman Hayley Williams herself. When Hayley first played Catherine the song, the director thought the song gave away too much of the story. Hayley wrote it out so Catherine could really look at the words — apparently it all worked out, because now "Decode" is nominated for Best Song at the Movie Awards.

Also on hand were Stephanie's BFFs and "Hills" co-stars Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge (wearing the same shoes that Kelly Clarkson rocks in her "I Do Not Hook Up" music video) all decked out in their best party gear. The ladies were all smiles as they partied with hotties like "Twilight" vamp Kellan Lutz and his "90210" co-star Ryan Eggold.

Although Lo and Rumer rocked all black, ladies like Nicky Hilton, Stephanie and Audrina all threw in a splash of color with their looks. But we're a little confused by Kelly Osbourne, who showed up to the party with a blond pixie cut that matched boyfriend Luke Worrall's. Note to Kelly: Couples should only match their feelings for one another, not their hairstyles.

For those who don't keep abreast of Guarini's every move (which is probably 99.9 percent of you), the curly-haired crooner just posted a song called "I Can't Live" on his official site, which he "wrote specifically for 'New Moon.'" He even made a video for the track -- basically just a series of still photographs of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart -- and told fans "If you like it, make sure to spread the word and ask Stephenie Meyer to put it on the soundtrack."

He also posted the video on his official YouTube channel -- tagging it with every conceivable "Twilight" theme imaginable, not to mention "Swine Flu" for added search-engine oomph -- and let fans have their say on the track.

And, well, that's where things get a little ugly .

It seems that most of the citizens of YouTube Nation didn't think too highly of Guarini's track -- or his blatant attempt to latch onto the "New Moon" film.

Comments ran the spectrum, from thoughtful ("Oh, Justin ... I love you and I haven't heard from you in ages, but really? 'Twilight?' Sigh. Everyone is going to the dark side these days") to petty ("wow this is very shi--y! lol! laaaaaaaaaaaame"), but pretty much everyone seemed to agree that the song just wasn't up to snuff, and that Guarini was just making a desperate grab for some of that sweet, sweet Stephenie Meyer Swag.

Of course, there were some fans who decided to take up the G-man's quest, starting an online petition to have "I Can't Live" added to the the "New Moon" soundtrack. And, for the record, we don't think the song is that bad (bits of it even sound strangely like Explosions in the Sky), and we can't really blame Guarini for trying. After all, anything's got to be better than spending every day alongside Kimberly Caldwell.

Now, imagine being a rocker who can play multiple instruments with ease and has a standing weekly gig at a Hollywood hotspot. Finally, picture the thrill of standing onstage while your devoted (and almost entirely female) fanbase shrieks at your every move.

Welcome to the world of Jackson Rathbone. We gave the 23-year-old "Twilight" star a Flip Cam recently during a concert by his band 100 Monkeys, and told him to go to town. The actor/musician shot his view from the stage, gave us an exclusive tour of the instruments at his house and even introduced us to his cat Dean.

Maybe Jackson will turn out to be the next J.Lo, and someday top the worlds of music and movies simultaneously. OK, maybe that’s not his ideal role model; maybe he’d prefer to pull a Robert Pattinson and keep things under the radar. Either way, it’s a lot of fun looking into the life of the banjo-lele-wielding artist sometimes known as Jasper Hale -- and suddenly, it’s not nearly as hard to imagine what it would be like to live out Jackson’s real life rock 'n' roll fantasy.

There are many things you might already know about Jackson Rathbone. He plays newly vegetarian vampire Jasper in "Twilight," has a band called 100 Monkeys, is a Sagittarius and was born in Singapore. Then again there's a slew of stuff you might not yet know about the actor, whom we just named one of the Male Pop Rookies of 2009. We'll let him tell you about them himself:

1. "I do a lot of photography, and I do a little bit of drawing. I try to incorporate the two together."

2. "I tend to sleep in all of my clothes and wear them the next day. I also haven't washed my hair in five years. No, not really. But it's been a long time."

3. "I play banjo. It's really annoying. And I also play accordion. Those two things are both really annoying. And I also play ukulele, which is also annoying, but I was taught to play ukulele by Spencer Bell, incredible musician."

4. "When I was very young, I busted my head open three different times — probably explains why I'm an artist."

5. "I don't take very good care of my car, as my dad tells me many times. I've been in several fender-benders. My bumper has fallen off a few times. I taped it back on with duct tape. Duct tape is awesome, by the way, but it kept falling off, so now my car has no bumper."

Forget Hole, Kittie, Evanescence, Garbage, the Go-Go's, Be Your Own Pet, Sleater-Kinney, Blondie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Le Tigre, Breeders, Bikini Kill, Babes in Toyland, the Gossip and the Donnas.

Without the Runaways, many of these bands might never have existed. So now that "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart has been tapped to play Joan Jett in a Runaways biopic, it's worth asking: Just who were the Runaways?

The first successful all-girl rock band (there were plenty of Motown-like girl groups in the 1960s and bands with female singers like Jefferson Airplane, but none who were all female and who rocked) formed when the five original members were still teenagers in 1975.

Though often pegged as a creation of Svengali Kim Fowley — who insisted that the band have a perv-magnet jailbait image and who initially took credit for putting them together and creating their sound — the group came together on its own in late 1975 with a lineup that included guitarist Jett, late drummer Sandy West, singer Cherie Currie, bassist Micki Steele and guitarist Lita Ford. With their combination of leather-and-lace outfits and a sound that mixed loud, fast, proto-punk riffs with dollops of Aerosmith-like metal and a sneery attitude, the group was mostly written off during its time as a publicity gimmick by the loathsome manager/promoter Fowley.

But the emergence of Jett as one of rock's great frontwomen (not to mention Ford's once-solid career as a lite-metal singer), as well as the enduring popularity of the band's classic 1976 debut single, "Cherry Bomb," created a template for female rockers of every stripe to strap on guitars, step up to the microphone and wail.

At a time when many female acts were crooning folk ballads, the teenage Runaways' unabashedly raunchy songs about sex, drinking and hanging out with the wrong type of dude ("You Drive Me Wild," "Is It Day or Night," "Thunder") didn't sit well with middle America but clearly made an impression on several later generations of singers.

Though the group fell apart within a few years thanks to a combination of poor sales, Fowley's overbearing meddling, musical disagreements and internal squabbling (the group ended as a Jett-fronted quartet in 1979), its pioneering spirit and us-against-the-world story is ripe for a big-screen biopic — especially one helmed and written by lauded video director Floria Sigismondi, who has worked on clips for everyone from Marilyn Manson to Christina Aguilera, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple and the White Stripes.

And might we suggest some casting? Perhaps John Waters or, even better, Paul Reubens, as Fowley?

Last month, Camilla Belle found herself in the spotlight when it was reported that she was dating teen heartthrob and "Lovebug" video co-star Joe Jonas. Soon after, pictures surfaced of Joe and Camilla, along with Kevin and Nick Jonas, vacationing in Mexico. But things got complicated when Joe's ex Taylor Swift began telling the press that he left her for Camilla, a claim he later denied.

Then a week later, Camilla was seen cavorting with Robert Pattinson at the "Twilight" premiere in L.A. It was then discovered that the two were also seen together hanging out at another Hollywood function only a month before. The photos got everyone asking: Are Joe and Camilla over already, or are Camilla and Robert just friends?

The actors were photographed having lunch together again this past weekend in Venice Beach, California, by a photographer for Celebuzz.com. Camilla and Robert are laughing in all the pictures, but they're also standing about a foot apart from each other in most shots. And Celebuzz's claim that Rob opened Camilla's car door for her hardly seems like hard evidence that this was a date.

Meanwhile, aside from their aforementioned Mexican vacation, Camilla and Joe haven't been seen in public together at all. Of course, last month, a source close to the pair told People, "They are not public about it, but they've just been hanging out with their friends and Joe's brothers. They are very private about it."
