It's time for a confession – we're just not that into "Twilight." It's not that we're haters or anything; it's just that it's not our scene. We like our vampires dark and scary not teenaged and angsty. That said, we're totally into Kristen Stewart and wish the series well.

So we're a bit distressed to hear that our girl Kristen gets chewed up – literally! – in "Breaking Dawn – Part 1." When we heard that Robert Pattinson's Edward is forced to quite literally chew a fetus out of Bella when a scalpel can't penetrate the placenta, we freaked out a little bit. That sounds insane!

In honor of this horrendous sequence, our pals at MTV Movies rounded up the 10 most gruesome birth scenes in film. Get a taste after the jump and visit MTV Movies Blog for the full list!

From MTV Movies Blog:

"Conan the Barbarian"
As if we needed any more evidence that Ron Perlman is the coolest dude on earth, he swoops in out of nowhere to perform a mid-battle cesarean on his wounded wife. Then he holds little Conan above his head like he just scored the winning touchdown at the Super Bowl and is gonna spike the kid on the ground.

"Knocked Up"
This one's gross only in that we didn't see it coming. Not for a second did we assume Judd Apatow would train his camera on Katherine Heigl's stunt vagina. But he did. And we were left thinking the audience — to tweak what Jay Baruchel had declared minutes earlier in the movie — shouldn't have gone in there.

"The Brood"
It's not enough that this woman asexually reproduced and is carrying her baby outside her body thanks to the deranged ministrations of her psychotherapist? She then has to grasp her mutant dwarf baby and lick it clean of blood, placenta and who knows what else? No, for David Cronenberg, it was not nearly enough.

"The Fly"
In what can only be described as Cronenberg's effort to out-Cronenberg himself after "The Brood," the director has poor Geena Davis — terrified that she would give birth to a mutant freak after Jeff Goldblum impregnated her — dream that she is giving birth to a huge bloody larva worm thing.

Some celebrity couples want to do everything together. Even if it's not the thing they're best known for.

But with the glow of their recent wedding still shining bright, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed and former "American Idol" contestant Paul McDonald have committed their love to plastic courtesy of their first joint single, "Now That I Found You."

The twangy ballad, with music by McDonald and lyrics by Reed, is, predictably, about finding true love in the eyes of your beloved. The pair's vocals don't exactly find the perfect mix, as McDonald's raspy, Rod Stewart drawl overpowers Reed's generic voice, employed mostly as musical wallpaper. Reed said McDonald is encouraging her to pursue music in a more serious way, so the song may be just the first of many future collaborations.

Who knows if these two will become the next Sonny and Cher or the modern Don Johnson and Barbra Streisand. But whatever the future holds, they can feel confident that plenty of other musical couples have their back.

The hook-up that might have ended all other couple collaborations is actually the one that never happened. Britney Spears and former N'SYNC member Justin Timberlake were at the peak of their uber-pop glory in the early 2000s, but, sadly, the dynamic duo never consummated the relationship in the studio. Other pop tarts did get busy in the studio, including onetime "Newlyweds" Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey on her single, "Where You Are," and another ex-pair, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, hooked up on his tune, "No Me Ames."

While some couples make beautiful music together, such as Mates of State and late Beatles John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the only good that came of the bed-hopping mess that was 1970s powerhouse Fleetwood Mac were such landmark albums as Rumors.

Indie rock, however, is lousy with real-life couple duets, from the recently split Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, to current hipster faves Nathan Williams of Wavves and Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino, who just released their collaborative track, "Nodding Off."

Hip-hop has also produced some classic love games, including the Notorious B.I.G.'s "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)," which features a chorus from his wife, Faith Evans. And while former Fugees band mates and one-time lovers Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean were able to record songs such as "Fu Gee La" together before their relationship and band split, expectant parents Jay-Z and Beyonce are still going strong and, well, "Crazy in Love."

What's your favorite celebrity musical collabo?

Yesterday, the track listing for the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" was revealed and now everyone is buzzing about Bruno Mars' hot new song for the franchise, "It Will Rain."

"Rain" is the perfect soundtrack song – a big, sweeping ballad co-written and co-produced by Mars' team, the Smeezingtons – and seems an ideal fit for "Breaking Dawn." And it got us thinking about our favorite soundtrack tunes. When a one-off tune from one of our favorite artists is tied to a movie you, it's the icing on a very tasty cake.

After the jump, a rundown of some of our favorite soundtrack tunes. We tried to stay away from musicals – with the exception of "Moulin Rouge" – because that's whole different can of worms, and we aimed for songs that we felt really belonged in the movies in which they appear.

>>> "Elephant Love Medley," Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor – "Moulin Rouge"

>>> "Take My Breath Away," Berlin – "Top Gun"

>>> "9 to 5," Dolly Parton – "9 to 5"
* Random fact: Parton based the riff of this song on the sound of acrylic finger nails typing on a typewriter.

>>> "Streets of Philadelphia," Bruce Springsteen – "Philadelphia"
* The Boss won an Oscar for this tune.

>>> "Into the Groove," Madonna – "Desperately Seeking Susan"

>>> "I Will Always Love You," Whitney Houston – "The Bodyguard"
*Dolly Parton wrote and recorded this song in 1973 and while it was a big hit for the country superstar, Whitney Houston's cover spent 14 weeks at No. 1 and pushed "The Bodyguard" soundtrack to become the first record ever to enjoy a million-plus sales week. It is also the biggest-selling soundtrack ever.

>>> "I Believe I Can Fly," R. Kelly – "Space Jam"

>>> "Uninvited," Alanis Morissette – "City of Angels"

>>> "Lose Yourself," Eminem – "8 Mile"
*Speaking of Oscars, Em won one for this jam.

>>> "It Must've Been Love," Roxette – "Pretty Woman"

The MTV Movie Awards could add a category for Best Soundtrack, but for a show that hands out golden popcorn trophies for Best Scared-As-S**t Performance and Biggest Badass Star, well, that would be so conventional.

That's not to say that a number of the movies being honored on this Sunday night's show didn't have seriously kick-ass soundtracks. Here's a breakdown of some of our favorites among the nominees.

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" (Best Movie): The folks behind the "Twilight" franchise have had few missteps in translating the vampire drama to the big screen. One of their biggest successes is in curating killer companion albums and the "Eclipse" lineup is no exception. With strong tracks from Muse, the Bravery, Black Keys, Band of Horses and Cee Lo Green, "Eclipse" is another eclectic, surefire winner.

"The Social Network" (Best Movie): The Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning score by Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor and collaborator Atticus Ross is a twitchy, buzzing nest of ambient music that captures the movie's mix of technological futurism and youthful naïveté. Jumping from piano cues mixed with crackling noise to driving techno instrumentals and NIN-like techrock on tracks such as "A Familiar Taste," the music brings to mind the minimalism of earlier electronic greats such as John Cage while still sounding totally contemporary. (And yeah, we can't wait to see what the team has done for their "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" soundtrack.)

"Iron Man 2" (Best Villain): Like the movie, the album for "IM2" was, well, eh. Made up of some of Australian rockers AC/DC's biggest hits, the disc included such nuggets as "Highway to Hell," "Have a Drink on Me" and "Back in Black," but then again, so do AC/DC greatest hits albums.

"Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" (Best Jaw Dropping Moment): The Biebs is the king of the mostly-killer-not-much-filler mini-album, and the companion piece to his record-breaking live 3D film is no exception. With the title track featuring Jaden Smith, as well as a "That Should Be Me" remix with Rascal Flatts, remixes with Usher and Chris Brown, and the Kanye West remix of "Runaway Love" with Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, the teen hit the jackpot again.

"Jackass 3D" (Best Jaw Dropping Moment): You can count on a few things from any "Jackass" soundtrack: a song from friends-of-the-'Ass CKY, some oddball throwback tunes from the likes of hippie icon Melanie ("Brand New Key") and the Blasters ("I'm Shakin'"), cheesy metal (Twisted Sister) and, of course, some good old-fashioned smash-mouth punk (Gang Green, Smut Peddlers, Cock Sparrer). The best part, though, is "If You're Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough," the country tune from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O.

"Kick Ass" (Best Breakout Star): This compilation is reminiscent of the mid-1990s golden era of movie albums. It has a bit of techno (the Prodigy, Zongamin), some driving pop dance (MIKA & Redone), shambolic rock (Primal Scream, the Dickies, the Hit Girls) and just plain pretty pop (The Little Ones, Ellie Goulding), with a bit of Elvis, New York Dolls and Ennio Morricone thrown in for good measure. In other words, a hot mess.

"Get Him to the Greek" (Best Comedic Performance): Credited to the movie's fake band, the Russell Brand-fronted Infant Sorrow, this album is funny, but maybe not more than a few times. "Furry Walls," "The Clap," Bangers, Beans and Mash" and "African Child" are hilarious in their send-up of Brit pop and cheesy balladry.

And since there won't be an official winner on Sunday, we'll go ahead and choose our own: "Eclipse."

Today, I had the great pleasure of spending the day at the home of "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke. She has a beautiful place a stone's throw away from the world-famous Venice Beach, and we paid her a visit to talk about her film's seven nominations at the MTV Movie Awards and relive the first time Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson met.

It was a great day of filming, and believe me: "Twilight" fans are not going to want to miss any of this!

We talked about the first "chemistry screen test" between Kristen and Rob. Kristen had to act out a scene with five different potential Edwards, one after another, with Catherine deciding that Robert was "the one" the first time the two kissed — which, as all Twilighters know, happened in Catherine's bedroom.

That all led up to the scene that is now a favourite to win Best Kiss at this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Apparently, both actors were nervous — so nervous that Rob actually fell off the bed during the audition. But then, once he was in the rhythm of things, Catherine actually had to remind Robert that the film was PG-13 as he was getting a little too ... well, you can use your imagination.

Talking about the Best Fight nomination for "Twilight" was very interesting. As you know, the fight scene between Edward and James wasn't actually written in the book — Bella just wakes up in the hospital — so for this, Catherine was able to completely conjure up the scene. She pulled out all the storyboards and talked us through the anatomy of the scene and how both actors prepared mentally and physically for the roles. With a small budget, she even resorted to using a combination of string cheese and chicken for the torn bits of flesh.

Then we saw her personal shrine to "Twilight" — one of the best "Twilight" collections. She has the original script and the first "Twilight" book she bought, complete with all her notes and alternate lines for Edward's "Hold on tight, spider monkey." (Robert chose that one after reading 10 alternative lines that Catherine wrote the night before, including "Wrap your legs around me and hold on tight, spider monkey" and "Fasten your seatbelt, it's going to be a bumpy ride.") It was nice to see that Catherine also keeps her fan mail and gifts that Twilighters send her. The best ones make it into the shrine.

Another great moment was seeing the words to Paramore's "Decode" written out by frontwoman Hayley Williams herself. When Hayley first played Catherine the song, the director thought the song gave away too much of the story. Hayley wrote it out so Catherine could really look at the words — apparently it all worked out, because now "Decode" is nominated for Best Song at the Movie Awards.

Thanks so much, Catherine (and team), for such a great day. You're a gem!

Although Lo and Rumer rocked all black, ladies like Nicky Hilton, Stephanie and Audrina all threw in a splash of color with their looks. But we're a little confused by Kelly Osbourne, who showed up to the party with a blond pixie cut that matched boyfriend Luke Worrall's. Note to Kelly: Couples should only match their feelings for one another, not their hairstyles.

We're pretty certain that "New Moon" is gonna be a big deal ... so we can't blame "American Idol" runner-up/TV Guide Network talking head Justin Guarini for trying to get involved with the film. It's just that, well, there's got to be a better way of going about it.

For those who don't keep abreast of Guarini's every move (which is probably 99.9 percent of you), the curly-haired crooner just posted a song called "I Can't Live" on his official site, which he "wrote specifically for 'New Moon.'" He even made a video for the track -- basically just a series of still photographs of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart -- and told fans "If you like it, make sure to spread the word and ask Stephenie Meyer to put it on the soundtrack."

He also posted the video on his official YouTube channel -- tagging it with every conceivable "Twilight" theme imaginable, not to mention "Swine Flu" for added search-engine oomph -- and let fans have their say on the track.

And, well, that's where things get a little ugly .

It seems that most of the citizens of YouTube Nation didn't think too highly of Guarini's track -- or his blatant attempt to latch onto the "New Moon" film.

Comments ran the spectrum, from thoughtful ("Oh, Justin ... I love you and I haven't heard from you in ages, but really? 'Twilight?' Sigh. Everyone is going to the dark side these days") to petty ("wow this is very shi--y! lol! laaaaaaaaaaaame"), but pretty much everyone seemed to agree that the song just wasn't up to snuff, and that Guarini was just making a desperate grab for some of that sweet, sweet Stephenie Meyer Swag.

Of course, there were some fans who decided to take up the G-man's quest, starting an online petition to have "I Can't Live" added to the the "New Moon" soundtrack. And, for the record, we don't think the song is that bad (bits of it even sound strangely like Explosions in the Sky), and we can't really blame Guarini for trying. After all, anything's got to be better than spending every day alongside Kimberly Caldwell.

Now, imagine being a rocker who can play multiple instruments with ease and has a standing weekly gig at a Hollywood hotspot. Finally, picture the thrill of standing onstage while your devoted (and almost entirely female) fanbase shrieks at your every move.

Welcome to the world of Jackson Rathbone. We gave the 23-year-old "Twilight" star a Flip Cam recently during a concert by his band 100 Monkeys, and told him to go to town. The actor/musician shot his view from the stage, gave us an exclusive tour of the instruments at his house and even introduced us to his cat Dean.

Maybe Jackson will turn out to be the next J.Lo, and someday top the worlds of music and movies simultaneously. OK, maybe that’s not his ideal role model; maybe he’d prefer to pull a Robert Pattinson and keep things under the radar. Either way, it’s a lot of fun looking into the life of the banjo-lele-wielding artist sometimes known as Jasper Hale -- and suddenly, it’s not nearly as hard to imagine what it would be like to live out Jackson’s real life rock 'n' roll fantasy.
