I am in the premier Bollywood dance troupe NDM Dance Productions. Our choreographer and artistic director, Nakul Dev Mahajan, received a call that "America's Best Dance Crew" wanted to do a Bollywood challenge for one of their episodes. He and our troupe jumped at the offer and after endless hours of sweat, pain, and focus to perfect different Bollywood dance styles and techniques to present to the crews, the 14-hour-day that followed was totally worth it.

The day started off well. We got our wardrobe and got our makeup and hair done (girls first, obviously). After the girls finished teaching the first piece almost two hours later, the whole troupe realized we were in for a long night. But it didn't go by slow at all, because after a piece was done, it was off to wardrobe to change and get back on stage for more dancing.

When the time came for my first performance, I was a bit nervous. Read more...

The fourth season of MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" premieres this Sunday! Want to know who is going to win it all? It might help to take a look back at the winners from the first three seasons — JabbaWockeeZ (season 1), Super Cr3w (season 2), and Quest Crew (season 3) to see what they have in common.

It seems the most intriguing and most important of similarities is each crew (either as a whole or in part) has competed in another TV talent show, such as NBC's "America's Got Talent," "Star Search," and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance." JabbaWockeeZ made their television debut in 2007's inaugural season of "America's Got Talent," where they were eliminated during the first call-back round. However, the very next year they went on to win "ABDC." In 2003, members of Super Cr3w appeared on CBS's "Star Search" — Jon Cruz was a three-time champion and Ronnie Abaldonado and Ben Honrubia (performing with Knucklehead Zoo) made it to the semifinals. Five of the 10 members of Quest Crew (who must have the coolest haircuts in "ABDC" history) competed in "So You Think You Can Dance" — Ryan "Ryanimay" Conferido was a finalist on the show's first season, and Hokuto "Hok" Konishi, Victor Kim and Steve Terada all competed in the second season but failed to reach the top 20. Hok and Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval both competed in the third season, with Hok making it into the top 20 and D-Trix finishing in the top 10.

LOS ANGELES — We're in between filming here at the legendary Warner Bros. studio lot where tonight, America will decide who will take home the coveted title of "America's Best Dance Crew" — and here's what we've seen so far.

As we were filming some live hits, Beat Freaks, Team Millenia and Boxcuttahz all hit the stage together to rehearse their finale-opening performance, and were soon joined by Quest Crew, Dynamic Edition and Strikers All-stars. Then came the turn of Fly Khicks, Ringmasters and GOP.

In between, Mario Lopez was hard at work reading lines while talking on the phone at the same time — busy guy!

We caught up with JC Chasez backstage as he was getting ready to block the show and he's as curious as anyone about who tonight's winner will be.

The wardrobe department is working hard putting together several different outfits for almost 60 crew members, and there's even someone who goes around all the crews with a wet-wipe cleaning their shoes. (It's a tough job but someone's got to do it, I guess.) My personal award for best outfit has to go to the Fly Khicks — you'll understand why when you see the show tonight.

America's Best Dance CrewIn between rehearsals, all nine crews kick it backstage like one big family, comparing moves, trying out new tricks and listening to music together. Even Dynamic Edition join in!

Out of curiosity, I took a look at the guest list. The award for biggest entourage for tonight is a tie between host Mario Lopez and judge JC Chasez, with Lil Mama following close behind — but with Mario actually on JC's personal guest list I think Mr. Chasez takes the award. It's a celebrity-packed audience as well, with Snoop Dogg, Lil Jon, some of the cast of "90210" and former "ABDC" winners SupaCrew all in attendance tonight.

Make sure you are too — the show airs tonight, live at 10 p.m. on MTV!

And even though the show may be over at 11 p.m., the party will continue as I host the live “America's Best Dance Crew” finale post-show, where we'll be talking to the winners, the runners-up, the judges and bringing you the real inside track from the "ABDC" finale! And be sure to check out the "America's Best Dance Crew" insider blog for all the latest!

We've been gearing up for the Grammys all week at MTV News, and we've been asking all types of questions. Would the Grammy's factor in the impact Radiohead's "In Rainbows" had on the music industry and give the band the award for Album of the Year?

Will Lil Wayne sweep with his eight nominations, or come home empty-handed? Can T.I. rebound from a turmoil-filled year and win Best Hip-Hop Album? Will M.I.A performing on her due date be the greatest thing ever? Read more...

On the new Web show "MTV Detox," our pop-culture superfan Jim Cantiello recaps the wildest happenings from the network's prime-time programming. Stream the show on your mobile phone and on MTV.com. New episodes air Sunday-Thursday at 11 p.m. ET.

For Thursday night's episode, Jim got himself a snap bracelet, Hammer pants and a Spice Girls T-shirt to get ready to recap '90s night on "America's Best Dance Crew." Luckily, the show is hosted by '90s superstar Mario Lopez, so all the crews had to do to dazzle the judges was round up the wackest tracks from the era. Even ’90s heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas dropped by "Detox" and had a say in the matter. To see how awesome "ABDC" judge JC Chasez looked in the '90s, check out the episode!

America's Best Dance Crew

Forget Ice-T and Soulja Boy. And who cares about Lily Allen and Perez Hilton these days? For me, the most exciting bubbling beef is between two of the biggest dance-competition reality shows: Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" and our very own "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew." (Yes, that's its full name. I know.)

It all started when Randy Jackson cast "SYTYCD" regular Shane Sparks as a judge on his show. It wasn't a problem during the MTV show's first season because "SYTYCD" was on its winter hiatus. But with season two of "ABDC" in full swing at the same time as season four of "SYTYCD," Sparks had to give up a gig. (Obviously, he picked Randy Jackson and MTV. Thanks, dawg!)

To fill the gaping hole Shane left in the "SYTYCD" lineup of choreographers/judges, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe went ahead and stole two "ABDC" choreographers, Napoleon and Tabitha D'Umo. (The pair appeared in the casting specials.)

Where's the beef, you ask?
