"Murderers and dictators generally are some of the smartest people out there — they just use their brain power for evil purposes. I don't condone any of their evil behavior, but I was asked about their intellectual firepower ... and in my opinion you can't have a low IQ and wreak that much havoc on the world. What Hitler succeeded in doing was deplorable. And I hope we never see such an abusive use of power again."
-Former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day clarifying comments she made about Adolph Hitler and Fidel Castro being "brilliant." O'Day was a guest on the Fox News show "Hannity" on Monday night (August 31) to talk about a recent United Nations report about sex education that suggests that masturbation be taught in schools. (The show regularly welcomes celebrities to discuss the issues of the day.) A former political science major, O'Day talked about an experience she had visiting Cuba and attending a seminar with Castro. She called him "brilliant," and Hannity immediately called him a "murderer," which led to O'Day's comments about Castro and Hitler.

This week, Aubrey O'Day became an honorary member of the MTV News team as our celebrity

Can't get enough Aubrey O'Day? Well, that's kind of how we here at MTV News feel about the former Danity Kane singer. That's why we've invited her to join MTV News for New York's Fashion Week, where she'll both attend and appear in shows and (of course) party it up so that you our faithful readers can get the lowdown on what it's like to be a celebrity at fashion week.
