"Well, actually, Jay-Z's just been in the studio doing some writing. Hopefully I'll get him to perform on the record. Jay, come holler! I'm just pushing forward, trying to get it right."
-Dr. Dre, opening the door for the Hottest MC in the Game to come in and drop a verse on Dre's long-awaited album Detox. The album, which the producer hopes to complete in time for a release some time in 2010, will finish the trilogy that began with his breakthrough album The Chronic back in 1992. So far, very little music has been heard, save for the track that made its way into a Dr. Pepper commercial and a few leaked session tracks from earlier this year. But possible collaborators on Detox include R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg, the Game, Drake, Lil Wayne and now Jigga. In between sessions in his lab, Dre has been hard at work perfecting his Beats by Dre headphones and a custom laptop designed for music playback.

Crystal Method weren't quite as hyped as Jim would have wanted them to be about "Dude Night," so it was a good thing Sway stopped by to help hip-hopify things for Jim. Before long though, it was time for Jim to get punched in the baby-maker by the "College Humor" guys. That's always funny. Right? Disagree, well we're sure there's something to make you laugh in last night's "Detox."

Every time rapper MIMS stops by "Detox" to hang out with Jim, and Jim's mistress Babs (you know, Barbara Walters) won't leave him alone. Women! And in case you missed it, you can learn the one thing you should never tell a woman, thanks to the "From G's to Gents" crew, on last night's episode of "Detox"!

On Wednesday night's "Detox," Jim tries to make friends with Real Worlder Sarah by making her a lighthouse, but once again Sarah refuses his advances. It might be best for Jim that they don't become friends, because that "Real World: Brooklyn" house is a total pigsty! Plus, with friends like Bow Wow stopping by, who needs Sarah? To see which "Real World" castmember does a killer Madea impersonation, check out "Detox."

Forget Brad and Angelina! The Academy Awards may have had Meryl Streep, but Detox's very own Nitro Circus Awards had the Meryl Street mannequin make her big return to the show. Also, "How's Your News?" star Jeremy stopped by and provided the show with a much-needed drumroll. By the way, if you need your fix of indie music, check out Detox!

The "Real World" crew headed to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday night, where Katelynn pole-danced and then revealed that she's transgendered. Too bad everyone already knew. It was pretty anticlimactic. But Katelynn did manage to shock the group when she told them that she had already completed her gender-reassignment surgery. Inspired by the episode, viral-video sensation Debra stopped by "Detox" and revealed that she too is a man, but told Jim that it was a little easier when he underwent his gender-reassignment surgery. All he had to do was Scotch-tape his face. To find out how Real Worlder Ryan would have spent Katelynn's surgery money, check out "Detox."
And don't miss Jim's take on making the episode on the Remote Control blog.

The eager editors of "The Girls of Hedsor Hall" gave Jim and company a bit of a headache this week, when the premiere barely matched the screener they watched to prep for the show. But no matter, there was still plenty of skanky girl-fight material to poke fun at before tackling the more serious issues of class warfare on "The City" and butt size on "Daddy's Girls."
See how the "Detox" crew pulled it all together in the Remote Control blog.

Asher Roth visited the "Detox" set to share with the show his inspiration for the song that Jim thought was called "I Love College Humor." The up-and-coming rapper was quick to put Jim in his place and inform him that 1) he's never seen the new "College Humor Show" on MTV, and 2) his song is actually called "I Love College." Awkward! To watch all the hilarity that ensues, check out "Detox" on the Remote Control blog.

For Thursday night's episode, Jim got himself a snap bracelet, Hammer pants and a Spice Girls T-shirt to get ready to recap '90s night on "America's Best Dance Crew." Luckily, the show is hosted by '90s superstar Mario Lopez, so all the crews had to do to dazzle the judges was round up the wackest tracks from the era. Even ’90s heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas dropped by "Detox" and had a say in the matter. To see how awesome "ABDC" judge JC Chasez looked in the '90s, check out the episode!

Okay sure some of you may get excited when Brangelina or the Jonas Brothers grace your presence, but for Jim and his "Detox" crew no celebrity sighting is better than when an actual MTV castmember stops by! That's why the crew was über-excited to have "Real World: Brooklyn" star Chet stop by on Wednesday night's episode. The only problem is, he tried to take Jim's job. Watch the episode and see all the awkwardness ensue!
