This weekend, over 70,000 live fans and millions more at home will cast their eyes on WrestleMania XXVII, the biggest event of the year in professional wrestling. The show will be live from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and will be hosted by Dwayne Johnson (who has brought "The Rock" back to the WWE). The top matches include a tilt between two legends (Triple H versus the Undertaker), a six-person tag match starring an MTV personality (John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi against Dolph Ziggler and LayCool) and the match for the coveted WWE Championship (current title-holder the Miz defending against John Cena).

Cena has been the perpetual headliner at WrestleMania for the better part of the past five years or so (he had been in one of the main events of each WrestleMania since 2005, and he has gone on last twice). But though he's the top guy in the company now, that was not always true. His first WrestleMania was back in 2004 when he opened up WrestleMania XX at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He took on the Big Show for the United States Championship, but before his music hit and he walked through the curtain into the arena, he admitted that he was a little bit distracted.

"I was worried my car was going to get towed," Cena admitted to MTV News at the WrestleMania press conference on Wednesday (March 30). "I was not allowed TK. It was cool because it was a moment of stardom wedged between reality. I truly love moments like that."

Being a WrestleMania veteran, Cena also offered newcomer Snooki some solid advice for her match. "I told her it's just like an afternoon at the shore," he said. "You're supposed to go out and have a good time, and if trouble starts, just keep swinging until the cops come."

I can't hear very well this afternoon, which I can mostly blame on John Cena. I didn't crank up his album You Can't See Me and blow out my ear drums, but rather, I was deafened by the crowd that gathered at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City for the WrestleMania XXVII press conference. Hosted by villainous play-by-play man Michael Cole, the event not only welcomed several dozen members of the media and some of the headliners from WWE's biggest show (which airs this Sunday, April 3 at 7 p.m. on pay-per-view) but also opened the doors for a group of rabid fans who brought their enthusiasm (and their chants) to Times Square.

I have been a fan of professional wrestling for years and plan on watching the big show this weekend. Hosted by Dwayne Johnson (returning to WWE as the Rock), WrestleMania XXVII promises to be fantastically over-the-top and wildly entertaining. The press conference presented a smaller version of the big show, as it trotted out main eventers John Cena, the Rock, Edge, the Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Triple H and "Jersey Shore" star Snooki to address the crowd about what they could expect this weekend. Though many of them (especially the Miz) were entertaining at the press conference, the real entertainment came from the crowd of fans.

Wrestling fans are a complicated bunch, as they don't always cheer for the heroes and heckle the villains (Alberto Del Rio, one of the top heels in the company, got a fantastically positive reaction). They even broke out chants, a staple of any pro wrestling show (in a great moment, they chanted the words "You are hot!" at WWE executive vice president Stephanie McMahon; later, they repeated the words "Next world champ!" at Del Rio). John Cena got by far the loudest and most polarizing reaction of the afternoon, and he weathered torrents of boos and chants of "You can't wrestle" while trying to talk about how much Wrestlemania meant to him.

In the end, we caught up with Cena and Triple H, who teased some surprises at WrestleMania and gave some advice to Snooki. Cena also told a great story about his first WrestleMania, which happened to be just down the street at Madison Square Garden back in 2004. He opened the show, though he was not entirely focused on the task at hand (a United States Championship match against the Big Show) because he was worried that his car would get towed (he was not yet big enough in the company to get good parking). But in the end, he picked up the Big Show, pinned him for a three count, won the title and returned to his not-towed car to return to his home in Massachusetts. It's further proof that WrestleMania is a great equalizer, and truly anything can happen. Stay tuned for more from our interviews and more on the biggest wrestling event of the year.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Actor, rapper and professional wrestler John Cena spends the bulk of his time staging fantastically entertaining matches on "WWE Raw" every Monday, but on Wednesday (September 1), he traded in his signature jean shorts for a classy suit for a visit to "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." He was on the show to discuss his upcoming movie "Legendary," which is set to hit theaters next Friday, September 10. During his chat with the late night comedian and recent Emmy Awards host, Cena talked about his father's work in the wrestling business (he grapples as "Johnny Fabulous") and their collective fashion crimes in the '80s (there was at least one reference to Zubaz). Fallon always seems to get along with wrestlers and Cena is a charismatic, genial guy, so it made for a great interview.

Cena wasn't the only star getting in there, as "The Apprentice" host Donald Trump dropped in on "The Late Show With David Letterman" and Katy Perry paid a visit to ITV in London. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted" archive, which features nearly 500 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Eminem, the Jonas Brothers, Jay-Z, Diddy, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Adam Lambert, Rihanna and 50 Cent!

Shouldn't logic dictate that the late night shows were off this week as well? With Labor Day coming up and considering most everybody has been off for the better part of August, you would assume that they'd squeeze one last week out of summer vacation and return ready to go next Tuesday. But the streets can't wait for after-hours comedy, interviews and music, which is why just about every one of the late night shows is back this week. Jay Leno will welcome an eclectic batch of musical guests to "The Tonight Show," including Cyndi Lauper and Johnny Lang (Monday, August 30), Norah Jones (Tuesday, August 31), Goo Goo Dolls (Wednesday, September 1) and Sara Bareilles (Friday, September 3). Leno will also chat with Kim Kardashian (Tuesday) and Louis C.K. (Friday) in what should be two very different interviews.

David Letterman counters with Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses (Monday) and Merle Haggard (Tuesday), along with the likes of Jessica Alba (Monday), Donald Trump (Wednesday) and Will Arnett (Thursday, September 2). "Jimmy Kimmel Live" remains on vacation, though the Thursday night episode featuring Jerry O'Connell and T.I. is a particularly excellent rerun.

But this week belongs to Jimmy Fallon, who gets right back on the horse after his performance at the Emmy Awards on Sunday night (August 29) to welcome Black Mountain (Tuesday), Heart (Thursday) and Never Shout Never (Friday) to "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." He'll also sit down with actor and WWE wrestler John Cena on Wednesday, which should be a highlight. (That same episode also features Anna Wintour and the cast of "Yo! Gabba Gabba," which should make it the weirdest hour of the week.)

It's a great time to be a sports fan right now. March Madness is in full effect, baseball starts soon, the UFC has a great show coming up this Saturday (March 27) and WrestleMania is this Sunday (March 28).

The latter event is always a highlight, as it brings together the spectacular sports entertainment of the WWE with the worlds of music, Hollywood and everything in between. This year's show will be live from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and the main events see Shawn Michaels battling the Undertaker, Edge challenging Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship, Bret "The Hitman" Hart going up against Vince McMahon and John Cena taking on Batista for the WWE Championship.

Who will walk away with their hands raised? We asked reality star and "WWE NXT" performer David Otunga who he thought would win in the biggest matches of the night. For his first prognostication, he thinks that Batista will be able to tap into his animal instincts and overwhelm part-time rapper Cena.

Though Otunga isn't booked for the big show on Sunday, he's still glad he is so close to the action, and he hopes to live out one of his goals at the WWE's biggest show one day. "My ultimate dream is to perform in the main event of Wrestlemania," Otunga told MTV News' Larry Carroll. "To win a world championship in the main event at Wrestlemania — there's nothing bigger or better than that."

We couldn't help but watch "The Celebrity Apprentice" on Sunday night (March 14) and think of all the celebrities that would be perfect fits for the show 20 years from now. Watching Rod Blagojevich try and convince burger patrons he's innocent while Cyndi Lauper busted out a rendition of "True Colors" across town while also shilling greasy diner food for hungry people made us wonder who might be the right people to fill their shoes down the line. So here is at least part of the cast of the 2030 season of "Celebrity Apprentice." Please keep in mind the show will still be hosted by Donald Trump (or perhaps a cyborg version of Trump).

We'll start easy. Since This season is so heavy on former professional wrestling talent (including Bill Goldberg, Maria Kanellis and Lauper), you would have to recruit John Cena. The iconic multi-time WWE champ will still have heads to smack, but this time they'll be in the boardroom and not the squared circle. (In fact, Cena was rumored to be a part of the cast a few years ago, so he could be an "Apprentice" veteran by the time 2030 rolls around.)

Since she'll probably take her place in most all aspects of life, Lady Gaga will be taking on the Cyndi Lauper role. Not only do both these women have "Stephanie" as a part of their names, but they are both different versions of the same wacky pop star. We hope to one day hear Gaga belt out "Telephone" while selling fried food for charity.

Every season there's the sassy lady who is willing to connive her to the top. It's been Joan Rivers, now it's Sharon Osbourne and one day it will be Heidi Montag. She's savvy, married to someone who makes questionable life decisions (Spencer does wear magical crystals) and would probably cut someone who got in her way.

The current season has Bret Michaels, but the 2030 show will star Pete Wentz. Read More...

John Cena apparently wants it all. He starred in a movie, won a WWE championship this weekend and now he's making a move for Eminem's job.

Similar to Em's extravagant performance of "The Real Slim Shady" at MTV's 2000 Video Music Awards, Cena graced the stage of the WWE's 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania XXV with an onslaught of carbon-copied-clones — all posturing their trademark, "You can't see me" move. As he runs through the line of imposters, explosions of fireworks line the sky. It was definitely a entrance to say the least — and was clearly inspired by Em's entrance.

Compare Cena's and Em's entrances on video, below.

John Cena By Jenna Talavera

John Cena is a wrestler, actor and hip-hop musician, but is he adding "ice cream connoisseur" to his résumé? Cena closed down Cold Stone Creamery on 42nd Street for a sit-down interview with MTV News about his upcoming movie "12 Rounds." Although ice cream has nothing to do with the film, Cena was game to take on 12 rounds of Cold Stone's creations and 12 rounds of MTV Movies Editor Josh Horowitz's questions — as long as it didn't mess up his clothes. (Wearing a white button-down, fitted blazer, jeans and white sneakers didn't help much!)

It started with one scoop on a cone, which led to cupcakes and shakes. With each round, I was learning more and more about Cena. He loves playing video games but hates losing. "I want someone to play me but lose so I can have status," Cena said. As much as I laughed, I thought to myself, "Did he really just say that?"

(Check out the "12 rounds" of treats Josh and John consumed, plus more interview details, after the jump!)

Yeah, I'm really about to hit him over the head with this steel chair I'm sitting on. Ooooooh, I'm really gonna do it. I hate his guts. No, I don't think I'm going to do it. Matter of fact, I'm definitely not going to do it. This dude is too much fun.

WWE superstar Edge had me on an emotional roller coaster last night when I attended the WWE's Great American Bash pay-per-view show at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum. Edge was in the main event facing off against Triple H. One minute I cheered the "Rated R Superstar," the next I booed. He's great for laughs and gasps.

The best match of the night had to be John Cena vs. JBL. The two had a New York City Parking Lot Brawl," meaning they fought in the back, surrounded by cars instead of in the ring. The match ended with JBL practically throwing Cena through the windshield of a vehicle from 10 feet in the air. Amazing.

Sports, and sports entertainment — one of the few times you'll see me getting geeked up!
