Every morning, MTV News delivers the top news stories in music, movies and pop culture hot and fresh for your reading and watching pleasure. We then bring together a trio of the biggest headlines for "Three to See," the daily digest of the top stories making noise on our site and across the Internet. This morning, stories on "Breaking Dawn," Lenny Kravitz and "Three Musketeers" lead the way.

"Twilight" Actors Holding Up "Breaking Dawn"
With the release of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" coming up next month, producers want to get moving on adapting the final book in Stephenie Meyer's smash hit vampire saga. But salary negotiations have stalled the work on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn." The Hollywood Reporter reports that a number of actors — "especially Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz" — are looking for more scratch if the book is being broken up into two films (as has been rumored).

Lenny Kravitz Headlining Gulf Benefit
Rocker Lenny Kravitz will top the bill for Gulf Aid, the benefit concert that will provide relief for the destruction of the Gulf Coast as a result of the recent oil spill. Kravitz, a part-time resident of New Orleans, joins Mos Def, Ani DiFranco, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John and a number of other local legends.

Casting Continues For "Three Musketeers"
Paul W.S. Anderson's film adaptation of "Three Musketeers" might be getting some big stars, as casting offers are out to Orlando Bloom, Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" star Logan Lerman. There are currently two movies based on the classic Alexandre Dumas novel currently in production (the other a flick helmed by "The Bourne Identity" director Doug Liman).

Lenny KravitzThat was quick. Less than a day after speculation emerged that Lenny Kravitz might be trying out for the empty Velvet Revolver singer slot, the clotheshorse rocker quickly shot down the rumor.

"I know and love the Velvet Revolver guys but there is no truth to the story about me joining their band," the former schoolmate of VR guitarist Slash told RollingStone.com on Tuesday.

It's kind of like the Summer Olympics, only it comes around about every six years instead of four: It's the Velvet Revolver frontman decathlon, and the hits keep coming.

Who's disqualified: Former Spacehog singer Royston Langdon was scratched from the competition last week, when VR bassist Duff McKagan told Billboard.com that the diminutive glam revivalist was not the band's gold-medal pick.

Who's on deck: Lenny Kravitz. According to the borderline reliable British tabloid The Sun, Kravitz has reportedly been "spotted" in the studio with the band. An unnamed source reportedly told the Sun, "Velvet Revolver's new album will draw heavily on their messy split with Scott. The band wanted a big name who could easily hold his own and reckon Lenny is just the man for the job."

Remy Ma Ma

· It's not a sex scandal with a governor but what is? Rapper Remy Ma's trial for shooting a woman in Manhattan kicked off yesterday. While prosecutors said Remy Ma was angry that a wad of cash was stolen out of her purse and that she intentionally shot the woman and fled the scene, defense attorneys opened by calling the shooting accidental and accusing the alleged victim a groupie. Crack reporter Jayson Rodriguez will have more on this later at mtvnews.com

· Ok, he's crazy obnoxious and we wish this story would just go away, but this is kinda cool. Kid Rock - involved in a scuffle at an Atlanta-area Waffle House last year -- will be slingin' waffles and smothered hashbrowns for the southern breakfast chain later today, all part of an effort to raise money for a local homeless shelter.

· Jay-Z's next video won't actually star Jay-Z - a first for Hov! Who it does star, though, is Lenny Kravitz's daughter, Zoe.
