Times are tough for Lindsay Lohan. Her big film comeback was relegated to the ABC Family cable network, and now she's got security problems. Over the weekend, her Hollywood Hills home was broken into, and she was robbed of multiple fashion accessories and a safe that was ripped clean out of a wall. This was the second such incident in a year for Lohan, who shuttles between Los Angeles and New York regularly. Now it looks like her neighbors are banding together to try to get her to move out of the area, as they now consider her a security risk and that the narrow street creates a traffic hazard for the other members of the neighborhood. According to Perez Hilton, Lohan is actually planning on moving out. It seems a bit harsh to pile onto the star considering the break-in was no fault of her own, but the traffic and security issues are legit.
But what would you do? We hit the street in Times Square to talk to some people (including a number of Colbie Caillat fans waiting to get into today's episode of "It's On with Alexa Chung") and ask them what they thought of the Lohan situation, and if they would drive Lohan away if they lived in her 'hood.
The fantastically unscientific results are in, and it's a relatively even split for Lindsay, with 56 percent of the respondents saying they would give her the boot. They cited her penchant for partying as the biggest issue that stuck in their collective craw, though at least a few people just didn't like her work. As for those 44 percent who would support her right to stay where she wanted, they preferred the "celebrities are humans too" argument, with at least one person saying that she was allowed to stay as long as she got invited over for a party.
Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Her return to movies was less than triumphant, but it seems that nothing can stop Lindsay Lohan, who recently took some time out to do some shopping in West Hollywood. Though the actress and singer spends a lot less time in the spotlight these days, that doesn't mean she's just kicking back living a life of leisure. She just launched a production company that she's calling "Unforgettable" (current projects include a reality show and a dating game show), will appear in the upcoming season of TV's "Project Runway" and has been cast in three upcoming movies. With all that going on, she could use a sugar and caffeine fix. Check out the photo below and follow the link to our complete "Spotted!" archive, which includes candid catch-ups with Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and dozens more.

Jay-Z had a big day yesterday: Not only was the MC nominated for a pair of MTV Video Music Awards, but he also spent time in Brooklyn shooting a commercial with legendary film director Spike Lee. Jigga hung out in the DUMBO section of the borough where he grew up to shoot a new commercial for his Rocawear clothing line. While hanging out at the shoot, Jay talked to MTV News about the album cover for The Blueprint 3 and shared some more details about what is fast becoming one of the most hotly-anticipated releases in years. Check out our behind-the-scenes look at the shoot and also follow the link below to see who else MTV News spotted, including Shakira, Lindsay Lohan and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to nudity — she famously stripped for a New York Magazine pictorial last year and appeared half-nude on the cover of Entertainment Weekly in 2004 — but her latest exposure has come via her personal Twitter. Lohan snapped a topless pic of herself using her BlackBerry, with most of her torso covered by her long locks.
"OLD PHOTOS," she wrote. "I'm THAT bored."
Lohan took the shot while on the set of a photo shoot for Fornarina, an Italian fashion label. Lately she's been in the news mostly for her ongoing on/off relationship with Samantha Ronson, though in the past several months has rolled out a line of leggings and appeared in a video on FunnyOrDie.com where she poked fun at her breakup. Follow the jump for the full photo.

You've seen the Spice Girls' Melanie Brown and soap star Kelly Monaco do the rumba and the samba on "Dancing With the Stars," but you probably haven't seen them dance like this yet.
The two stars have teamed up to headline "Peepshow," a modern burlesque show set to open at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Mel B plays the mistress of ceremonies, the Peep Diva, while Monaco is Bo Peep, the Diva's timid protégé.
They were joined at the show's opening-night party last night by none other than Linday Lohan, who may be back to her hard-partying ways after her breakup from Sam Ronson. Could LiLo be interested in guest-starring in the show too? Read more...
It often seems like the only projects Lindsay Lohan tackles are partying and getting her picture taken. But, the actress-turned-leggings-designer is expanding her horizons.
We'll let her explain what's been filling her plate these days. (Spolier alert: It includes a spray tan line!) "I actually am starting a spray tan. I'm doing it through Sephora. And it's really exciting cause it's really good and I'm really happy about that," she told E! Online. "My friend and I just had an idea so we did it through my company."
Lohan isn't a one-trick pony, though — she's also concentrating on high-brow projects like, um, a diamond line. Yes, a diamond line. "I'm starting to do a diamond line. I designed this one [points to her jewelry] with my friend Karen from 14 Karats. This is a sliver diamond. Everyone thinks it's a stone and I'm like, 'No it's a diamond, it's not a stone.' With Britney Spears' career seemingly on the upswing and li'l sis Jamie Lynn lying low while raising baby Maddie Briann, it's probably safe for their mother, Lynne Spears, to step forward and admit she was at least partly responsible for her daughters' tumultuous lives. If things hadn't turned out well, we wonder if she really would be taking the blame while out promoting her book, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World."
To be (sort of) fair, Lynne is hardly the only, or even the worst, celebrity mother of 2008. And she seems to be trying to make up for any neglect by telling England's Daily Mail she almost called the memoir "It's All My Fault." Let's take a look back at some of the other famous moms and dads who maybe shouldn't be writing parenting guides anytime soon. Read more...

Three young men who claimed Lindsay Lohan commandeered their vehicle and took them on a white-knuckle high-speed chase on Santa Monica-area highways that ended with the actress' arrest on DUI charges last July have filed suit over the bizarre incident, The Associated Press reports.
Dante Nigro, Jakon Sutter and Ronnie Blake sued Lohan last week for battery, false imprisonment, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, slander and negligence, seeking damages in excess of $25,000. Two months after the incident, the actress pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine that night and an earlier drunken-driving arrest, serving 84 minutes in jail before entering rehab.

Two flamboyant tours stopped in New York City last weekend: Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour and Of Montreal's latest stage show. Both artists share a flair for the dramatic, elevating their concerts to epic theatrical extravaganzas. But there's one major difference: ticket price. The best seats at MSG went for $350, while Of Montreal charged only $23 for general admission at Roseland Ballroom!
So any Madonna fans out there who are strapped for cash, here's why you can — and should! — check out Of Montreal's latest gigs and still get a Madgetastic show for a fraction of the price. Here's a breakdown of which show is better at what:
COSTUME CHANGES!
Madonna: Lots of black. Lots of top hats. Lots of shorts. Also, there's whatever this is.
Of Montreal: Frontman Kevin Barnes dresses like a cardinal! Then, he's a minotaur! He's in a bikini bottom! He's wearing a giant fanny pack! He's covered in fake blood! He's smothered in whipped cream! He's dressed like Prince! Shall I continue?
Advantage: Of Montreal. Half the fun of a Madonna concert is seeing what she's decked out in, but her latest wardrobe is a far cry from the Gaultier-designed Blonde Ambition garb. Stick with Of Montreal's wild and outrageous "WTF ARE THEY WEARING?!?" appeal.

This week is the week of coming out: From Lindsay Lohan finally admitting to dating DJ Sam Ronson "for a very long time" to Clay Aiken, proud new daddy and proudly out GAY man (no surprise there), it seems that everyone has decided to jump out of the closet and show Sarah Palin who they are. (Ha! Can Lindsay please hit on Governor P? Please??) And, OMFG, there was even a blind item this week about a famous TV housewife who is getting separated from her real-life husband (her beard?) and is rumored to be coming out SOON!
Anyway, long gone are the days when kissing a fellow contestant in a limo full of models was considered cool or edgy (three years ago, I kissed fellow contestant Sarah Rhoades in front of the cameras on "America's Next Top Model"), or when the statement "Yep, I'm gay" was actually daring — people claimed that would end Ellen DeGeneres' career, and now she's one of America's most beloved talk-show hosts, has a hot wife, and gets all the free episodes of "Arrested Development" that she wants! (Yep, I'm jealous.) Remember the uproar when some people claimed one of the Teletubbies might be gay? Read more...
