DrakeDrake the Great? This cat is really catching fire quick. A lot of the fans and other rappers are tapping him as the next super MC. You know what that means, right? It only makes Lil Wayne bigger. Weezy has been trying forever to build up his Young Money family, and although Drake's contractual obligations to Wayne have not been fully disclosed, we all know that Weezy F. Baby has given Drizzy his most major co-sign.

Weezy and Drake are sounding priceless together on tracks right about now. They're two of my favorite MCs to hear spar with each other on the track. "Successful" (also featuring Trey Songz) could be a hit if they push that button, and that "Ignant Sh--" freestyle (over the beat from Jay-Z's "Ignorant Sh--") is definitely still one of my favorite joints right now ("I'm so high I can vomit on a comet"). Props to the DJs for finally playing it on the mixshows. Wayne's verse is merciless: "I'll take probation/ I don't want the T.I. and Vick vacation."

It's that time of year, movie lovers! The MTV Movie Awards nominees are in, and "Twilight" and "Slumdog Millionaire" lead the pack of movies vying for those Golden Popcorns.

Mixtape Daily — the spawn of our much-beloved Mixtape Monday — catches up with Lil Wayne protégée Nikki Minaj, who comes straight from the Southside of Queens. Young Money's newest artist brings you an up-close and personal peek into her mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty.

It was a sad weekend for last year's "American Idol" winner David Cook, whose brother passed away on Saturday, following a long battle with brain cancer.

Here's a pairing "X-Men" fans have been waiting for: Taylor Kitsch dished to Splash Page about a possible romance between his Gambit and Anna Paquin's Rogue in an upcoming movie.

Will there be an "Indiana Jones 5"? "Crystal Skull" screenwriter David Koepp talked to us about the possibility.

Shaheem ReidWe were definitely proud of the people contributing to Mixtape Monday as we reflected on 2008. This thing of ours we call the mixtape game thrived in 2008, even though many said it would die out.

You can count record sales, concert tickets, the spins on a single, how many diamonds your favorite rapper has in his change, but one thing you can't mathematically measure is an artist's passion for the game. That's why DJ Drama still does for the streets despite his arrest in a mixtape raid last year. That's why Rick Ross and Young Jeezy still do it, alongside their quests for multi-platinum plaques. That's why 50 Cent and the G-Unit still do it, despite all their fame and wealth. Even the legends with nothing left to prove — such as Nas and LL Cool J, who are heralded as two of the greatest rappers ever — still catered to the streets this year. It's all for the love of the game.
