One of the more interesting Internet memes of the past few weeks stems from Tiger Woods' public apology last Friday, which saw him spend 13 minutes confessing his sins and asking for mercy for his personal transgressions. As MTV News reported earlier today, there are a handful of people who have taken audio from Woods' apology and mashed it up with a handful of pop songs. So far, we've heard Woods melded with songs from Robin Thicke (excellent), Ke$ha (pretty good), OneRepublic (reasonable) and Black Eyed Peas (not so great).

But even that last one is still pretty amazing, which is why this trend should definitely continue. Here are a handful of songs we'd like to see get the Woods apology treatment.

Shaggy, "It Wasn't Me"
Shaggy's philosophy is remarkably flippant (and also somewhat unreasonable). "Your girl caught you? Just say it wasn't you! Problem solved!" The juxtaposition is too good to turn down.

Ginuwine, "I'll Do Anything/I'm Sorry"
Nothing says "I have irreparably damaged my personal life and my marriage" like a good Timbaland beat.

Really, you should be listening to music every day, but thanks to Twitter, Monday has become the best day of the week to discover new songs, show some love to the tune currently dominating your iPod playlist and quietly judge the listening habits of your closest friends. Yes, it's #MusicMonday, one of Twitter's most enduring trending topics. Hence "MTV News' #MusicMonday," a weekly look at the songs your favorite stars are currently crushing on.

This week, R&B superstar Robin Thicke takes some time out to big up Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind."

Robin Thicke dropped one of the most underrated albums of 2009, but in the opening months of the new decade, Sex Therapy has been catching on. Thicke's latest single "Rollacoasta" is one of the best R&B jams on the radio right now (mostly because it sounds like mid-period Prince). In fact, all of Sex Therapy pounds — especially "Meiplé," Thicke's collaboration with Jay-Z.

Of course, Thicke isn't just a Jigga collaborator — he's also a big fan. "The last album I downloaded was Jay-Z's album, which is amazing," Thicke told MTV News. "['Empire State of Mind'] is an immediate classic for the rest of time — just like Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York.' It's a new generation getting to feel the streets of New York the way he described it."

Thicke is about to hit the road as the opening act on Alicia Keys' tour, and the singer thinks that secret weapon in "Empire State of Mind" is none other than Keys' chorus. "With Alicia's booming voice, we all feel inspired. We feel like we could conquer and do anything when those two say it."

Thanks to President's Day, this week only has four work days in it, which is just fine with us (though if you happen to be on staff at "Jimmy Kimmel Live," it's like this every week, as they never do a show on Mondays). And because of the constant coverage of the Winter Olympics, all of the NBC shows are pre-empted. Compound that with the fact that "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" are both off this week, and the result is a fairly slim menu of shows.

However, that doesn't mean that you'll go wanting in your after-hours quest for entertainment. On the contrary, this week's shows feature some excellent guests, many of whom come from the music world. Mary J. Blige will be on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Tuesday (February 16), and on the same night, Sade will visit the set of "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Kimmel may have the most stacked batch of guests of anybody this week, as he has Tracy Morgan on Wednesday (February 17), Robin Thicke on Thursday (February 18) and best-selling author Lauren Conrad and Wale on Friday (February 18).

We don't normally call out "Chelsea Lately" in this space, but on Tuesday night Chelsea Handler will not only welcome former "Singled Out" host Chris Hardwick (who is one of the best and funniest interviews in Hollywood) but also comedian Jen Kirkman, a hilarious up-and-comer who should spar nicely with the host. Meanwhile, "Lopez Tonight" has the always-quotable Charles Barkley on Tuesday night and will chat with Snoop Dogg on Wednesday.

If you prefer to watch your somewhat reclusive R&B stars in the harsh light of day, then you're in luck, as Sade visits with Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday. Ellen also welcomes Tracy Morgan on Wednesday and Kim Kardashian on Friday. "Live with Regis and Kelly" has "Inglourious Basterds" star and Oscar nominee Christoph Waltz on Wednesday, and the ladies of "The View" will chat with "Dexter" star John Lithgow on Thursday.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing on TV this week? Which show has the best lineup? Let us know in the comments!

In our continuing efforts to take you — the loyal music lover — deeper into the minds of today's artists, MTV News presents "Frame by Frame." Each week, we'll get a musician to give you the inside scoop on their latest music video.

Robin Thicke's sexually charged "Sex Therapy" video starts out with some shots of beautiful women and a palatial mansion in Beverly Hills. "We didn't show enough of the house," Thicke recounted while he described how amazing the estate was to shoot in. "That's, like, five chandeliers just over the dining-room table!"

The dining room certainly looked opulent — just on first glance, we noticed gold-embossed furniture, giant pillars in the background and a first-class dinner, including caviar, champagne and chocolate-covered beignets. Classy.

Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

After years of keeping her daughter out of the spotlight, Madonna has been easing the 13-year-old Lourdes Leon into the real world. The pair have made appearances together at a number of events in the past year, including at Tuesday night's red carpet premiere of "Nine." The film is an adaptation of the musical of the same name and stars a who's who of elite Hollywood stars, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Fergie. It was a fitting premiere for Madonna, who is no stranger to movie musicals herself (she starred as Eva Peron in a film adaptation of "Evita" in 1996). For her part, Lourdes is building up quite a sense of style for herself and by all accounts is extremely well-adjusted — no small feat, considering her mother is one of the most famous women in the world.

Madonna and Lourdes weren't the only stars hanging out on Tuesday night. Robin Thicke prescribed some "Sex Therapy" to a crowd at J&R Music World to celebrate the release of his new album, and
Kim Kardashian got her nails done in Beverly Hills. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which contains over 300 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Shakira and Rihanna!

The march towards the holidays continues, and though there are plenty of high-profile movies, television and concert events to promote, the talk show circuit is winding down, with this week being the last full week of guests before many of the shows go on hiatus for the last few weeks of the year. There are plenty of stars making the rounds this week, though there is no shortage of repeat guests. For example, after appearing on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last week, Snoop Dogg will be a guest on "The Colbert Report" on Monday (December 14), on "The View" on Tuesday (December 15) and on "Last Call with Carson Daly" on Friday (December 18). (Luckily, there's no such thing as too much Snoop.)

Elsewhere in the late night world, Kris Allen will perform on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday (December 16). Over on NBC, Jay Leno welcomes Nick Lachey on Tuesday (December 15), John Mayer on Wednesday and Mary J. Blige on Thursday. (Meanwhile, Friday night's episode of "The Jay Leno Show" features Glenn Beck and Kate Gosselin, a combination that may tear a gigantic hole in the universe.) "The Tonight Show" has a performance from Adam Lambert on Monday and another from Robin Thicke on Thursday.

But the big highlight of the week might just be Tuesday night's episode of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." The host is celebrating his 1,000th show, and he's doing it with Kristen Bell, Maria Bello, Jason Scwhartzman and Jason Segal (accompanied by his Dracula puppet). If you can keep your eyes open long enough, it should make for a pretty unhinged hour of comedy.

Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Former "American Idol" contestant David Archuleta didn't win the season he competed (that honor went to erstwhile Our Lady Peace fan David Cook), but in many ways it's worked out better for Archie. He has never had to deal with the pressure or scrutiny of being the winner, but there is still plenty of enthusiasm surrounding everything he works on (including his recently-released Christmas album). Plus, he's not hounded by photographers all that often. Really, it's the best kind of fame. Still, it was nice to see him show up in the paparazzi viewfinders yesterday, as Archuleta was spotted leaving high-end Los Angeles eatery Il Pastaio with singer and songwriter Kina Grannis.

He wasn't the only star who rolled in public yesterday, as Leona Lewis paid a visit to Radio One in London and Robin Thicke dropped in on a radio station in Miami. Click here for these photos plus the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features over 350 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Shakira, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Lady Gaga, the Jonas Brothers, Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Jay-Z and 50 Cent!

Leighton Meester plays fashionista Blair Waldorf on "Gossip Girl" every week, so her image in the new video for her single, "Somebody to Love," isn't much of a stretch: Meester casts herself as love-starved, clothes-conscious, jet-setting starlet pining for gong guest Robin Thicke.

In the a sneak peek for the video, Meester sits in the back of a town car with a black newsboy cap and spangled cut-out romper, writhing around while singing about looking for love. In other scenes, a more sultry Meester sings in a club and wraps herself in the curtains of her boudoir. Let's not forget the video also has the prerequisite rolling-around-in-the-bed scenes. What is a video about love without shots of a singing starlet writhing amidst her soft sheets?

Meester recently explained to MTV News the video isn't about the glamour shots of her and Thicke. Rather, what it's really about is the clothes. "It's basically going through my day, a sexy day in my life. We start off in the car we come in I keep on fantasizing and dreaming that I'm with somebody I can love," she explained. "He kind of comes and goes he disappears. It's mostly about the clothes and the looks so that's exciting for me. I've had a lot of fun with that."

Growing up watching MTV, I was always a big fan of the show "Making The Video." (Favorite episodes: Blink-182's "All The Small Things" and Lindsay Lohan's "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" — so tragic!) Now that I work at MTV and I get to visit the sets of music videos, it's always a real exciting coup.

On Sunday, fellow MTV Newsfolk Lisa Millstein, Saimon Kos and I headed to the SubMercer to check in on Leighton Meester and Robin Thicke's video for Meester's debut single "Somebody to Love." It may not be a Queen cover, but it's some great pop music. (If it played at my little cousin's Bat Mitzvah, I'd be on the dance floor in a big way.) The premise of the video involved Leighton trying to find — you guessed it — somebody to love. Thicke shows up at a hotel, in a crowded club and on the street looking to love her. I'll keep it vague, as it'll be out soon.

More importantly: Costumes. Thicke was wearing a really well-tailored black suit made out of an unconventional-looking material (it looked like hammered silk). When I further pressed him on what his suit was made of, he explained that it was the skin of an exotic land and sea animal (he was kidding). But Leighton was totally wearing animal: a short, black leather dress with buttons going up the back and a pair of 99-inch silver Galliano heels that wrapped around her leg. I feel like she cheated death with every step she took.

Elaborate music videos take a long time to shoot, and there is a lot of "hurry up and wait." That's a lot of what we did while waiting to grab some footage. However, there's something to be said about what happens when they do start to roll camera, as you're watching television magic happen!

It's worth noting that one of the coolest women who every smart girl needs to look up to, Zoe Cassavetes, directed the video. She's Sofia Coppola's BFF, and together they starred in "Ciao, LA" (also featuring three guys "from the hit series 'Sabotage'"). So, Zoe, if you're reading this, I'm a really big fan. And when I apologized because I accidentally knocked my bag into your side, I totally froze up and couldn't tell you why.

Working on Sunday sucks. For one, it's supposedly a day of rest. You should be out at the park, enjoying Sunday brunch or lying in your bed watching sports while you recover from your hangover. Worst of all is that you know the next day is Monday — the official start of the work week — and you have five more days of this. So as I stood in a torrential downpour in the middle of the Wall Township Speedway in South Belmar, New Jersey yesterday, I thought to myself, "This could be worse."

I'll backtrack a little. I was asked on Thursday if I wanted to interview Queen Latifah, and I said "Yeah," because it's Queen Latifah. I just didn't hear the part where my boss said "… interview Queen Latifah this weekend."

But I thought "Whatever, it's Queen Latifah." And then I found out the interview would take place at her video set in south Jersey, and I thought I should really stop saying yes to everything so quickly. But once my cameraman Joel and I arrived, it was actually pretty awesome.

As we drove up to the set, we saw it was a racetrack with Ford Mustangs racing around. We made our way to the center of the track, and Robin Thicke walked past us to go hop in to drive a blood red car. Common arrived a little while later to drive a cobalt blue one. We grabbed interviews with both guys, who spoke excitedly about getting the opportunity to drive on the track. They were just there to show love to Latifah, whom they described as good friend.

The day was going smoothly. Video set visits can take forever because artists have a commitment shoot their video, and we grab them when can, in between takes or during breaks. But after Queen Latifah finished shooting her first scene, she came over to us for her interview. However, just as she was getting her makeup touched up, the sky opened up.

News reports all weekend had said that Hurricane Bill wouldn't hit the Northeast all that badly, but an hour later we were huddled up under Latifah's tent with about 10 of her people as the water continued to rise. They sang, danced and joked around, which helped pass time, and she even went out of her way to make sure we grabbed an interview later on.

The racetrack was below sea level, so the more it rained the more we became worried about all the electrical cords that surrounded us. I didn't get electrocuted, so it could've been much worse. Thankfully, I'm here to write about it ... on a Monday.
