To celebrate June as Black Music Month, iTunes and Apple will host performances by black artists at Apple Stores around the country. Wyclef Jean, Talib Kweli, David Banner, Michelle Williams, and a slew of others will be getting in on the action.
Now if only they would offer up a few of those mysterious new iPhones for free too, we'd be totally hooked.

· The latest Rolling Stone counts down the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time. Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode” is #1; Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit” is at #10; and the Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop” is at #18.
· Coldplay’s new single, “Violet Hill,” will soon join the “Guitar Hero” repertoire. Hmm, not much shredding to be had there.
