With the 4th of July just around the corner, you're probably looking forward to all sorts of things: swimsuits, suntans, and of course the ultimate S-word, summer. But there’s only one preoccupation for punk-rockers all across North America, and that, of course, is the Warped Tour! We recently caught up with Gabe Saporta and Victoria Asher of Cobra Starship, to give you all yet another reason to battle the heat at America’s longest-running migratory mosh pit.

You may recall Starship’s hit song “Bring It (Snakes on a Plane),” which featured Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, William Beckett of The Academy Is ... and Maja Ivarsson of the Sounds. Well, the intrepid Warped Tour-goer may just notice that two out of those three acts will be on the tour alongside Cobra Starship. Gabe let us in on a secret that confirms everybody’s hopes that the band will take full advantage of the situation.

· U.K. newspaper The Times reported on Thursday that Madonna has hired Fiona Shackleton, the same lawyer who handled the Paul McCartney divorce case, and that she is seeking legal advice for a possible divorce from Guy Ritchie, her filmmaking husband of seven years. When asked about the report, a spokesperson for Madonna told MTV News: "No comment at this time."

Dr. Jan Adams — who operated on Kanye West's late mother, Donda — has lost his license to practice medicine after failing to pay child support, according to TMZ. The doctor was also arrested for DUI early Thursday (June 26).

· Here we go again ... already? Fox has announced the eight audition cities for the upcoming eighth season of "American Idol." Hopefuls can start lining up for their shot at instant fame, with auditions hitting San Francisco, Phoenix and the first-ever location outside the contiguous 48 states — San Juan, Puerto Rico.

· Slash reportedly dialed up Sebastian Bach "out of the blue" for some kind of "mind-blowing" top-secret rock project that doesn't involve fronting Velvet Revolver. Bach says taking that gig would be awkward, given his BFF status with Guns N' Roses leader Axl Rose. Please, please tell us it's a new line of hard-rockin’ hair-care products!

· The Newsroom's Lika Kumoi will be bummed to know that My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero is off the market. He reportedly married longtime girlfriend Jamia Nestor on Sunday, according to a MySpace bulletin sent out by the band, Bouncing Souls. "Yesterday, we all enjoyed celebrating the wedding day of our good friend Frank from My Chemical Romance,” the band wrote. “It was a fine family gathering which ended up in us singing a couple of Frank’s favorite Souls songs. Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio jumped up to sing along to an acoustic version of 'Night on Earth.’”

· Speaking of wedding bells, one of the wires are reporting that Kanye West got married to his girlfriend, designer Alexis Phifer, in a secret ceremony in Europe last month. We are making the calls right now...

· Aphex Twin, Goldfrapp, Kate Nash, Serj Tankian, Redd Kross and Adele have been added to the lineup for this year's Coachella festival, set for April 25-27 in Indio, CA. While they all join previously announced groups -- like Portishead, Roger Waters, Kraftwerk, Death Cab For Cutie, the Raconteurs, My Morning Jacket and The Breeders -- it still doesn't make up Jack Johnson.

· Hatebreed and Type O Negative will headline this spring’s edition of "The Jagermeister Music Tour" with more acts to be added in coming days. The trek gets underway May 16 in Providence, Rhode Island, and runs through June 28 in New York.

· And finally, venues for this year's Warped Tour have been announced. Pre-sale tickets for the tour, which kicks off on June 20th in Pomona, California, starts this Friday, March 14.
